Arctic Frontiers: PechaKucha Night
Arctic Frontiers: PechaKucha Night
Friday 27th of January, 12 talented researchers will showcase their exciting work focusing on the Arctic. The presentations will be fun and fast paced - each presenter speaks for 6 minutes and 40 seconds - 20 slides for 20 seconds each.
This PechaKucha Night will take place during the Arctic Frontiers 2017 conference week. The event is organized in collaboration between Arctic Frontiers, Pecha Kucha Tromsø, Riddu Riddu Festivalla and Driv.
What is a PechaKucha Night?
PechaKucha Nights are happening in over 900 cities around the world. The presentation format is simple: each presenter shows 20 images, and talks along to the images. The format is informal and fun. The core of the concept is to gather creative people and let them share their ideas, works, thoughts or groundbreaking research in the PechaKucha 20x20 format.
The event is free of charge and everyone (18+) is welcome to attend. The Pecha Kucha Night will be followed by a concert.
